The calling of space

Quick2Space was formed by a small group of space enthusiasts who wanted to inspire and help students to get involved in space technologies. We saw an opportunity to lower the barrier of entry in terms of costs, complexity and development time for students and researchers who want to perform experiments in space. The organization is registered as a Washington state non-profit and is governed by its Board of Directors:

Adi Oltean, President

 

Mr. Oltean graduated in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science. Currently he is a Principal Software Engineer with Microsoft Corporation, where for the last 17 years, he has architected, designed and delivered many key services and infrastructure components in Windows, Windows Server and Bing.

Daniel Pravat, Vicepresident

 

Mr. Pravat graduated in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from "Politehnica" University of Bucharest. Currently, Mr. Pravat is an Engineering Manager with Microsoft Corporation where he delivered several infrastructure components in Windows and added many cutting edge cellular features to Windows Phone. In the current role, he is adding new capabilities to Windows Server and Azure Stack.

Florin Trofin, Secretary

 

Mr. Trofin graduated in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science degree from "Politehnica" University of Bucharest. Currently, he is a Senior Computer Scientist with Adobe Systems Inc., where for the past 12 years, he has worked on various desktop products, infrastructure components and web services.
